The new Tiger 1200 Alpine Edition adds to the mid spec Tiger XRX specification with an even higher level of equipment, designed to enhance the ride and deliver even greater value for money.
HILL HOLD
Hill hold control prevents the bike rolling backwards for enhanced ride confidence and maximum control, even when fully loaded or with a pillion. The system applies the rear brake until sensing the rider is starting to move off, and is activated using the front brake lever. The new standard fit feature for 2021 is switchable via the bike set-up menu.
DEDICATED HIGH-SPEC SET-UP
Improving its adventure capability, the Alpine Edition features a lightweight Arrow silencer and, for clutchless gear changes and an even smoother ride, Triumph Shift Assist as standard.
PREMIUM AND LIGHTWEIGHT ARROW SILENCER
The new premium Arrow silencer is 2.1kg lighter than the standard and delivers a notably more thrilling Tiger triple soundtrack.
POWERFUL AND RESPONSIVE ENGINE
The Alpine Edition features the thrilling 1,215cc triple engine and delivers peak power of 141PS at 9,350rpm and maximum torque of 122Nm at 7,600rpm, giving more immediate power delivery and exceptional all-day smooth riding capability.
STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY
The new Tiger 1200 Alpine Edition offers a wide range of technology features, including full LED lighting, optimised cornering ABS and Traction Control, four riding modes (‘Rain’, ‘Road’, ‘Sport’, and ‘Off-Road’), cruise control and keyless ignition.
FULL-COLOUR TFT INSTRUMENTS
Dynamic angle adjustable full-colour 5’’ TFT instruments, ergonomically designed switchcubes and premium backlit 5 way joystick and button give the rider even greater control.
HIGH SPECIFICATION SUSPENSION
The Alpine Edition’s premium adjustable WP suspension is delivered by the Triumph Semi Active Suspension (TSAS) system and allows the rider to electronically control the type of the ride.
HIGH SPECIFICATION BRAKES
Twin 305mm floating discs and radially mounted 4-piston monobloc Brembo calipers on the front, and a single 282mm disc with Nissin 2-piston sliding caliper on the back, deliver exceptional braking performance and immediate response.
CAST WHEELS AND HIGH QUALITY TYRES
For superb all-round capability, the Alpine Edition has stylish black aluminium cast wheels fitted with Metzeler Tourance tubeless tyres (front R19 x 3”, rear R17 x 4.5”).
