ENGINE AND TECHNOLOGY
At the heart of the Bonneville Bobber Black you’ll find the category-leading, Bonneville 1200cc high-torque engine with its unique Bobber tune. The liquid cooled, 8 valve parallel twin produces 76Bhp (57 kW) @ 6,100rpm and peak torque of 106Nm @ 4,000rpm, up to 10% more torque than the Bonneville T120. The power plant that drives the Bonneville Bobber Black is as aggressive as the motorcycle looks.
The Bonneville Bobber Black has a significant amount of innovative, rider focused technology, discreetly packaged to deliver the iconic silhouette of the bobber. The first-in-class adjustable floating aluminium single seat has a low height of 688mm, which allows for a confident riding position, tailorable to every riders style. The mono-shock suspension system that is tucked neatly underneath the floating seat assists in delivering a smooth and comfortable riding experience. Road and Rain riding modes, switchable traction control, single button cruise control, torque-assist clutch, ABS and an immobiliser all come as standard, and a new fat 16” front wheel helps to create a more aggressive stance without compromising the ride. The latest edition to the Bonneville Bobber family is fronted with a distinctive new 5-inch full-LED multi-function headlight, which includes Triumph’s signature daytime running light system (DRL*) and maker’s mark triangle branding. The Bonneville Bobber Black also sports all-new more muscular 47mm Showa cartridge front forks, twin 310mm front discs and twin Brembo 2-piston sliding axial calipers.
